Cape Town - Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen believes they have an advantage in the FA Cup due to the fact that the semi-finals and final will be played at Wembley Stadium.
Spurs have been using the national stadium as a temporary home this season, while their new ground is being constructed, and Vertonghen is pleased his team will have the privilege of essentially playing at home in the FA Cup.
Mauricio Pochettino's side cruised into the last four by thrashing Swansea 3-0 on Saturday, thanks to a brace from Christian Eriksen and a goal from Erik Lamela.
"It definitely helps us because we have played well there," Vertonghen was quoted as saying by the Belfast Telegraph.
"We've beaten some big teams there and had some good games, apart from the start of the season when it was a bit difficult for us.
"Wembley suits us and we've had a good season there. We really feel at home there."
Spurs have lost only three games at Wembley all season, winning 17. They were on a 15-game unbeaten run there before the recent UEFA Champions League defeat to Juventus.
The London outfit welcome Manchester United to Wembley for their FA Cup semi-final on Saturday, April 21.
