Oyo LG vice chairman dies after swearing-in

IBADAN—FATE dealt a fatal blow on the newly elected Vice Chairman of Irepo Local Government area of Oyo State, Mr. Adeyemo Ojedele, who died in an auto crash shortly after being sworn in by the Chief Justice of Oyo State, Justice Munta Abimbola.
Ojedele, who was  travelling  in his car reportedly died with his friend.

Two other people were said to have sustained serious injuries.
It is gathered that the accident occured at Adafila village on Ogbomoso-Igbeti road in the Oke Ogun area of the state.
Speaking in a telephone interview, Mr.  Phillip Adelaja said the driver lost control of the car and veered off the road and in the process somersaulted.
He said the deceased would be buried today at First Baptist Church, Kisi in Oke Ogun area of the state.
